Walmart Is Allowing Scalpers To Sell PS5s On Their Site

Walmart and other stores have struggled to keep the PS5 in stock due to scalpers hoarding them and reselling them for ridiculous prices. Right now, you can buy, at Walmart, the PS5 disc version for $1,083.75 and the digital version for $1,139.00, but as I’m typing this, there is only one left in stock. Honestly, how can Walmart let scalpers do this? Isn’t Walmart’s phrase save money live better?

What The People Are Saying

I am loving the reviews and 1 stars people have been giving them. One of the Walmart reviews was from the middle of April. One reviewer hopes the scalpers get stuck with every PS5 they are trying to scalp. I hope so too. Also, others have advised people to buy a computer. I agree that people should use their PC or build one and let these people suffer for trying to hurt others financially. I really hope people come together and stop buying from scalpers and take pleasure in the pain the scalpers have caused themselves. I’m only 10% evil, I promise. I found it so amusing when those that bought necessities in bulk to profit off of the pandemic were left with no one to sell it to. You deserve that.

I’m really disappointed in Walmart for letting this happen. There are already a lot of people who refuse to shop at their stores. Now, Walmart has given people another reason to stay away. The price of the PS5 is supposed to be $399 and $499. I’ll be waiting a while to buy the PS5. The console is not worth over double the price. I hope the scalpers give up and sell their remaining inventory to GameStop and people can get a PS5 brand new.
