It’s difficult to not be a fan of Guardians of the Galaxy. We are still waiting for the next Guardians of the Galaxy installment to finish filming and be released. However, we may not have to wait long to see a spin-off for one of our favorite characters: Groot!

There is not much information out there regarding the project. However, if you have a subscription to the Funko’s Marvel Collectors Corps., you may have an idea when I Am Groot will premiere on Disney+. While we do not have an exact date, the release of the Collectibles previously coincides with the thematic, or Disney+, releases.

For instance, the Collectibles released in November have the Eternals theme, which the film was released the same month. The next set will be in line with the release of Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. So, a Collectibles schedule shows the I Am Groot theme to be coming out in September. Can we assume that this means the I Am Groot series will premiere in the same month on Disney+? This definitely isn’t confirmation, but could be a strong suggestion if they continue to follow suit.
