Watch: Tommy Wiseau As The Joker

Not too long ago, The Room actor/director Tommy Wiseau expressed his interest in taking on one of the most iconic roles in comic book history: The Joker. This is a character who was obviously created in the pages of various DC Comics series, and has long been known as the nemesis of the Batman. Performances of the character have been immortalized on the big screen in live-action form by Caesar Romero, Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger, and most recently, Jared Leto.

However, with news of a standalone movie coming from Warner Bros., Wiseau threw his hat in the ring. Given how terrible of an actor the guy really is, it was obviously a performance that we’d never get a chance to see, and while I would never want to see Wiseau actually take on the serious role, I would LOVE to see a little bit of what we COULD expect should Wiseau actually take it on.

May God bless the folks over at Nerdist, because they were able to work with Tommy Wiseau to create a legendary audition tape. And, of course, it wouldn’t be an audition tape without him being dressed in full Joker attire (okay, sure it would, but who cares, right?). What follows is pure, unadulterated gold.

Though while Wiseau isn’t too great as the Joker, Greg Sestero isn’t exactly killing it as Batman either.

How sad are you that we won’t be getting a Tommy Wiseau-led Joker film? Let us know down below with a rating of one to five teardrops.
