Small towns in America are both alluring and boring to some people. It can represent a slice of heaven and hell at the same time. For one couple in Welcome to Redville, being stuck in a tiny town for eternity is a bizarre place of limbo.
The film stars Jake Manley, Highdee Kuan, Chris Elliott, Sabrina Haskett, Mitch Field, Chase Dean Baker, Warren Sweeney, Phil Hendrie, Robert Craighead, Isaac C. Singleton Jr., Matt Cannon, Ashley Doris Wilson, Dusty Sorg, Katelyn Eaton, Michael Lanahan, Joe Palubinsky, Steven Mr. Porter, Phire Whitaker, Dominic Hernandez, and Joeal Nicassio.
Isaac H. Eaton and Danny DeVoto wrote the film. Eaton directed the film.

Leo and Toni are a young couple who flee from the police after a botched robbery and lie low in the secluded desert town of Redville. Soon, they have a run-in with the local sheriff, whose daughter entices Leo to steal her uncle’s million-dollar diamond. After they have strange encounters with Redville’s townsfolk, Leo convinces a reluctant Toni to help him steal the diamond. When the sheriff catches them fleeing with the diamond, Leo shoots him dead. As they flee, they keep running again and aging into the ghostly “Welcome To Redville” sign. Driving in endless circles, they end back in Redville where they are confronted by the townsfolk and the Sheriff who is very much alive…

LRM Online’s Gig Patta chatted with director/co-writer Isaac H. Eaton and actress Sabrina Haskett on the small-town production, car chase, purgatory, comedy, and character motivations.
Isaac H. Eaton directed the quirky comedy Spin, Shoot & Run and the drama Don’t Tell. He made his directorial debut in 2000 with Shadow Hours, which premiered in the dramatic competition at the Sundance Film Festival and starred Balthazar Getty, Peter Weller, Rebecca Gayheart, and Peter Green.
Sabrina Haskett became one of the youngest contestants on American Idol in 2014. In 2016, she fell in love with acting and singing when featured in the Netflix film Deidra and Laney Rob a Train, which premised at the Sundance Film Festival. Also, she was the lead character in the web series Happy Hazel and was hand-picked by Amy Poehler to join the cast of Moxie.
Welcome to Redville is out tomorrow, Tuesday, August 29.
