There are a lot of characters in that picture… Besides Spider-Man: Far From Home we know we are getting an Eternals film, Doctor Strange 2, and Marvel tells us we will get Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Not much else is known though. I figure a sequel to Black Panther is inevitable and the recent success of Captain Marvel means she’ll likely see another movie, but what about new stuff?

With Disney’s purchase of Fox, we know the X-Men and the Fantastic Four are heading home and Marvel would be foolish not to use them. There is a small problem to overcome though, and that is how do you introduce mutants and the Fantastic Four? I think the multiverse is the best way to introduce mutants, and time travel could provide us with our Fantastic Four. But what about other characters? I know Nova has been a name tossed around some and Marvel once said the MCU would be more cosmic after Avengers: Endgame. I know many people have a desire to see Blade, Moon Knight, and even ghost Rider get the MCU treatment, but I think those three would be better off on a mature streaming platform.

I know Marvel has a plan, unlike LucasFilm, and that we’ll likely get a whole slate of movies announced sometime after Endgame or Spider-Man: Far From home. It’s the waiting that sucks. I would put my money on the X-Men being the main earthbound focus in the future with everything else being cosmic, and I am cool with that. I am more excited about the possibility of more mature characters getting shows on Hulu than I am the MCU stuff on Disney+ like Loki, Falcon and Winter Soldier, and Scarlett Witch.
