Chainsaw Man is a Japanese manga series that started in December 2018 and had 11 volumes. Yesterday, the official trailer for the anime was released. Now, I don’t read manga so I haven’t heard of Chainsaw Man, but oh my god that looked crazy. It took me a couple of watches since it moved so fast. There’s no release date yet, but this is definitely on my watch list. It looks so great!

JP Anime provided us the synopsis in the description:
Broke young man + chainsaw dog demon = Chainsaw Man. The story follows a young boy named Denji, a poor boy who is forced by the yakuza into killing devils in order to pay off his crushing debts. However, after his last mission, he has outlived his usefulness and was murdered by a devil in contract working for the yakuza. But Denji’s life of poverty has changed forever when he was revived by his pet/weapon chainsaw dog, Pochita! Catching the eye of the official devil hunters who arrived at the scene, he is offered work at the Public Safety Bureau as one of them. Now he’s living in the big city and an official Devil Hunter, with the means to face even the toughest of enemies, Denji will stop at nothing to achieve his simple teenage dreams.

After watching the Chainsaw Man trailer, I had to see the cosplay next and I was not disappointed. Some people are so damn talented. Just a reminder, please don’t shave your teeth into points. I couldn’t help but think of the influencers who shaved their teeth into pegs when I was watching.
