This week Kyle is joined by Brian Brantley to discuss their favorite slasher films. The genre really got its start in 1978 with John Carpenter’s Halloween. That film set in motion a genre that would give birth to the most famous movie killers, soundtracks, and creepy jump-roping kids to ever grace the silver screen. There are a lot of great slasher films out there and they’re not all supernatural. From the most demented and scary, to twisted dark humor with a twist (of a knife), slasher flicks are a treat to be enjoyed by the whole family…. maybe.
