New The Wheel of Time Episode 5 stills have been released online ahead of tomorrow’s debut of the new installment in Season 1. Have you been watching along so far? If so the images shown below will just provide a tease of what is to come. For those not caught up, you probably will have no idea what’s going on anyway.
It would be fair to say that Episode 4 finished quite dramatically for two of the three prominent groups we follow in the show. However it look’s like Perrin and Egwene who simply got some rest and a few lessons last week will have the peril turned up a notch once more. The Whitecloaks have seemingly taken an interest in the wandering band of Tinker’s and that also means Perrin and Egwene.
Meanwhile Rand and Matt have made it to Tar Valon it seems, and roughly at the same time as have Moraine, Lan, Nynaeve and of course captured and stilled false Dragon Logain. There are definitely a few teases here that book readers may spot, specifically that I think two of the shots shown here go together. However I won’t spoil anything and you never know until we see the show.

Course, it would be easy to start piecing together everything we are seeing here if you have read the books. Clearly the differences mean it is just an educated guess. However I think I can see where this is going and I’m hopeful it’s going to work. Episode 5 will be released as always at Midnight tonight GMT, which means for many places across the U.S. The show actually hits later today. As usual, I will be watching at launch time, as I’m loving Season 1 so far.
