We’ve got some Star Wars Barside Buzz, including when to expect trailers for Ahsoka Season 2 and Starfighter, plus rumored plot details for the latter. So, let’s get started on the trailer rumors. I’m not vouching for this scooper yet, but I’m cautiously sharing new insider Scoops Ahoy latest posts. We’ll see how accurate these rumors are down the line and use that to determine if we keep following young (age of account) Scoops.
The first thing they says is that we should not expect to see an online trailer for Ahsoka Season 2 till September/October. They claim that audiences at D23 will get to see a trailer first, but it won’t go online till later this year.
A teaser has been assembled with an approved visual edit, but still being worked on in audio and grading. Will be done in the next couple of weeks.

However, there is better news around Starfighter, (if this is all legit?) The Insider claims that D23 will get a trailer for Starfighter also, but this one will be shared online for the rest of the world. Or as they say, public.

Now for some new rumored plot details for Star Wars: Starfighter. This would not be the first plot hints/leaks we have had. So far we understand Gosling’s character is tasked with aiding his young nephew/family friend getting somewhere safe whilst the villains chase him down.
Now, we have some rumors from an old source, shared via Bespin Bulletin who have all the details collated. Check it out,
‘Firstly, let’s start with the name of our new protagonists. Ryan Gosling is playing Cade and Flynn Gray is playing a character with a name that sounds like Rone or Ronin. It is unknown if either has a surname. Flynn also uses an American accent.’
‘Cade is a rogue/Han Solo-style protagonist according to MSW. He also wears a necklace that is said to be important. It is reported that early in development, Cade is the best friend of Flynn Gray’s father. Amy Adams will play Flynn’s character’s mother.’
‘Ryan Gosling’s role in the film is to safely transport Cade to a new planet called Adaria as it has Jedi academy/refuge. It is said Gosling and Gray have a tremendous amount of chemistry. Director Shawn Levy is credited with having a good track record working with child actors with Stranger Things.’
Jedi Order?
‘Now for a description of the new planet Adaria. It is described as lush green location but has a muddy contrast. It is East Asian-inspired and has tiki-style huts. On set, large mechanical struts, possibly landing gear were present. As we know, Tom Cruise turned up on set to film a Lightsaber duel scene in a muddy location. Now we know that duel took place on Adaria.’
‘This location also has Jedi. The Jedi appeared to resemble padawans; similar to Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin at the end of Episode I The Phantom Menace.’
‘Speaking of Jedi and Lightsabers, Mia Goth and Aaron Pierre have a Lightsaber duel on Adaria. Pierre is connected to the Jedi sanctuary on Adaria in some way.’
‘Additionally, Ryan Gosling’s wife, Eva Mendes, supposedly has an interesting role. This is something Bespin Bulletin heard quite some time ago but chose not to report it. Mendes’ character is described as being a “fully glammed out cantina owner named Belle”. This character is also not human as she is 650 years old. Her outfit is a set of “gold skin-tight pants, corset with a golden cape.”’
Nothing seems to odd for what we expect based on other rumors. It will be interesting to see how much of this checks out when we see Starfighter on May 28, 2027. Ahsoka Season 2 hasn’t been dated yet, but we know it has slipped into 2027. Let us know what you think of this Barside Buzz below.
