This year’s upcoming action-comedy Deadpool 2 has been chugging along with their trademark viral marketing. From its cover in Good Housekeeping to Ryan Reynolds’ series of tweets, we’re not lacking in fun content to consume. However, as great as the Bob Ross-inspired teaser was, there are still plenty of fans who are actually hungry for a legit Deadpool 2 trailer (i.e. a trailer that has more than 10 seconds of footage).
The movie is set to come out in the middle of May, and with that, there’s surprisingly little time to release a trailer (less than four months). So when can we expect it next?

According to a report from Collider, the Deadpool 2 will be attached to Marvel Studios’ next film, Black Panther. Of course, whenever there are rumors involving the film trailers being attached to specific movies, it’s pretty much a confirmation that the trailer will actually drop online at least days before. This seems to also be the case with Deadpool 2, which is rumored to hit the web on Valentine’s Day, which is in keeping with the love story nature of the first film.
As of this writing, that means we’re around three weeks away from the trailer’s release, which isn’t too far off.
In addition to the date, the outlet also confirmed that the new trailer will, in fact, feature Cable, played by Josh Brolin.
