When will Tom Holland quit Spider-Man? Given that this version of Peter Parker is just finishing up High School, I’m sure I’m not alone in hoping for a college years trilogy to follow this? And as far as Sony exec Amy Pascal is concerned, she’d be happy to make many more movies with Holland as Spider-Man. In GQ‘s latest article on Holland Pascal was quoted as saying:
“I’ve talked to him about doing, like, 100 more. I’m never going to make Spider-Man movies without him. Are you kidding me?”
However as that what Holland himself thinks about it? Not so fast, Holland appears to be at the point where he just doesn’t know and won’t rule out anything it seems at this point.
“Maybe it is time for me to move on? Maybe what’s best for Spider-Man is that they do a Miles Morales film? I have to take Peter Parker into account as well, because he is an important part of my life,” he says. But also: “If I’m playing Spider-Man after I’m 30, I’ve done something wrong.”
Holland is currently 25, so if fans want that college years trilogy, Marvel and Sony better get it going ASAP.

Then again, Holland might just decide to make three more Spider-Man movies after all and then hang up his working boots at 32?
“I might start shooting The Crowded Room and go, ‘You know what, this is what I’m going to do for the rest of my life.’ Or I might do Spider-Man 4, 5, and 6, finish when I’m 32, and never make another. I’m not sure what I want to do.”
I guess where things may change for Holland a little is if he ever decides to have a family. Who knows where current relationship with co-star Zendaya will go in the future? But seriously, I think Holland probably wants to ask some older actors, who could have retired anytime they wished. There’s a reason they keep coming back, and it’s because they love it. Once Holland is in his late 40’s it may be too late for Spider-Man and may be time for Morales. However if I was him I’d be looking to spend as much time as he can playing this role within the MCU. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
