I am not sure why Hollywood decided to make a Dora the Explorer movie now instead of a decade ago. It would almost seem as odd as Disney making an Avatar land nearly a decade after the release of the first movie, especially with no idea how well the sequel will be accepted. However, Hollywood is being Hollywood and we’ll soon see Dora on the big screen with her backpack and monkey in Dora and the Lost City of Gold.
The monkey, known as Boots, is being voiced by none other than Danny “Machete” Trejo!
The rumors are true, I finally can tell you I am a monkey…Boots!!! Don’t miss the @DoraMovie trailer this Saturday 3/23, debuting live during the @Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards! #DoraMovie pic.twitter.com/gr5rq0xRYp
