Will Smith To Shoot Suicide Squad 2 After Bad Boys 3 And Bright 2

If it’s not clear enough based on that title, Will Smith is all about the franchise films these days. Given the dude’s track record on the big screen, that’s no surprise, but what is surprising is how many he has coming up in the very immediate future. Seriously, I can’t imagine having that many big-budget films on my docket…but what does he have coming up, and in what order?

According to The GWW, Suicide Squad 2 has faced a bit of a delay. This was confirmed when it was revealed that the film’s director, Gavin O’Connor, would be filming his Affleck movie, The Has-Been in October.

It’s because of that that Smith has been able to fit in the likes of Bad Boys for Life and Bright 2. Let’s start with the former film. This is one that’s been in the works for the better part of a decade (probably more). If we’re to believe the outlet, Bad Boys for Life could shoot from November to March in Miami and Atlanta. This will allow them to easily make its street date of January 17, 2020.

One other big project is the currently-untitled Bright 2, the sequel to the blockbuster Netflix movie that critics hated and fans enjoyed. It looks like Smith is ready to jump from Bad Boys to Bright almost immediately that same March in Germany.
