Will Wernick brought the horrors of Escape Room with its clever traps and maze. Lightning may strike twice in the twisted horror of No Escape.
In No Escape, the film follows a social media star who travels with his friends to Moscow to capture new content for his successful VLOG. Always pushing the limits and catering to a growing audience, he and his friends enter a cold world of mystery, excess, and danger. As the line between real life and social media is blurred, the group must fight to escape and survive.
The cast includes Keegan Allen (Pretty Little Liars, Palo Alto), Holland Roden (Teen Wolf, Lost), Denzel Whitaker (The Great Debaters, Black Panther), and Ronen Rubinstein (9-1-1: Lone Star, Orange Is The New Black). Will Wernick directed and wrote the script.
LRM Online’s Gig Patta discussed with director Will Wernick on the clever traps, torture, safety on production, and the lure of this horror genre.
