Multi-talented Brande Roderick has a splendid career that has included being a model, acting in Baywatch, and even competing as an entrepreneur in Celebrity Apprentice.
Now, Roderick is advancing her career in the director’s chair with her first feature film as a director.
The film stars Roderick in the lead role with Carolyn Hennesy (Cougar Town, General Hospital), Texas Battle (Death Valley, Hard Kill), Casey King (Star Trek: Picard, NCIS: Los Angeles), Keaton Roderick Cadrez (Ace & the Christmas Miracle), and Will Roberts (Oppenheimer, Studio City).
Roderick directed the film based on the script written by Richard Schenkman.
Here is the official synopsis:
Set in the 70s, Wineville follows Tess (Brande Roderick), who is forced to return to the California winery that was her childhood home following the death of her brutal and abusive father. Now a single mom raising her 11-year-old son, Tess dreads setting foot again in the house filled with hateful and painful memories. Once there, she is immediately confronted by her bitter and unforgiving aunt, who runs the off-the-beaten-path winery with her adult son. However, while trying to sort out her inheritance and dealing with an attraction to the mercurial young ranch hand, a violent murder at the vineyard reveals the evil still just below the surface there. In order to escape once again and save both herself and her boy, Tess will need to uncover the horrible truth of her own past and the roots of the murderous legacy that has been unleashed once again.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta talked with actress-director Brande Roderick about the origination of the story, the winery, the 70s period, her cast, and particularly working with her real-life son, Keaton Roderick Cadrez.
In 2000, Brande Roderick launched her career in a big way by starring as Leigh Dyer in the popular series Baywatch and appearing as Playmate of the Month in the Playboy magazine in April. She was later named Playmate of the Year in 2001. On the reality side, she appeared as a competitor in the Celebrity Apprentice in 2009 and the follow-up with Celebrity Apprentice 6 All-Star in 2013. She hosted a Playboy Shootout reality competition in 2009. She has extensive film credits, including Starsky & Hutch, Snoop Dogg’s Hood of Horror, and The Nanny Diaries. Also, she guest-starred in Joey, The Parkers, Just Shoot Me! and Beverly Hills, 90210.
