Witchboard – Trailer

Witchboard

The trailer for Witchboard rattled my fillings. It’s tense. It’s moody. It’s got that “don’t touch the thing on the table” energy that always ends badly for someone. I am so there.

This one comes from the maestro of monster mayhem himself, Chuck Russell. That’s right, the guy who brought Freddy back swinging in Dream Warriors and dropped The Mask on us like a Looney Tunes fever dream wrapped in a green tornado of 90s glory. Chuck don’t play. Chuck summons.

Now he’s got demons. Real ones. Not the kind you get after a late-night meat lover’s from Sal’s, which, by the way, was worth it. I regret nothing. No, these demons come with old boards, haunted hallways, and people chanting things they absolutely shouldn’t be chanting.

I’m into it. It’s glossy. It’s unhinged. And Madison Iseman, Aaron Dominguez, and the Herbert twins are walking straight into trouble. God bless ’em.

Circle the date, my friend: Witchboard hits theaters August 15, 2025. I’ll be there, popcorn in one hand, rosary in the other.

Here’s the synopsis – From legendary director Chuck Russell (A Nightmare on Elm Street 3, The Mask), Witchboard resurrects the ’80’s horror classic with a chilling new vision. In present-day New Orleans, a cursed artifact unleashes a vengeful witch, drawing a young couple into a deadly spiral of possession, temptation, and occult terror.
