Goat Rodeo is working title of Captain Marvel 2, not Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania!
This is a story where I know we are going up against outlets you have more reason to believe for Marvel news than LRM. I know that, so please don’t think is some cheap attempt to create some Marvel buzz. Yes, we have proven ourselves as an excellent source for Star Wars leaks. However, this will be the first time LRM has branched into MCU territory for ourselves. I do not take the plunge lightly.
Recently we covered some news that Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania was filming under the working title Goat Rodeo. You can find the original story in the related section below along with the relevant sources of that information. Today however, I was told by a source I trust and who would know this information, that it is wrong. This source has come through for us before, just not for MCU news. However, we are told that the working title of Captain Marvel 2 is Goat Rodeo and our source is 100% certain on that.

Honestly, the only reason this matters is to start building the puzzle of future leaks that have not happened yet. Once Captain Marvel 2 begins filming, it will be handy to know what the working title is for various reasons. I never once thought Goat Rodeo had any relevance to the plot of the new Ant-Man movie, and I don’t for Captain Marvel 2 either. However, it would be wrong for us to not share this news when the fans are convinced Goat Rodeo is the shooting title of Ant-Man 3.
I guess the truth of this will come out soon enough like we normally get for working titles. This could also explain some of the confusion around the possible shoot date of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania? Remember that Captain Marvel 2 is still currently scheduled for November 11th, 2022. Therefore Captain Marvel 2 should film before the third Ant-Man movie currently rumored to release on February 16th, 2023.
