Would Adam Driver return to Star Wars? I don’t think there is much doubt about which character, and actor came out best in the recent sequel trilogy. No, not Babu Frik, but Adam Driver as Ben Solo, aka Kylo Ren. Given that Solo dies, a supposedly heroic ands redemptive death like his grandfather, one would assume we would not see Solo again. Surely the Skywalker line is ended. Though fans surely would love to see a series set in Solo’s younger days being taught by Luke. Thing is, that would have to either be animated and voice work only, or cast with a different actor.

So it’s kinda surprising, and yet not surprising when Driver says he would actually return to Star Wars if the opportunity and the right project came along. In a recent chat with Unilad, Driver indicated he’d never say no to anything if it interests him.

‘No, I’m totally not against it. For me, it’s a filmmaker’s medium, so my only thing is working with great filmmakers. Whatever the size… it’s never been interesting to me, to an extent. There’s interesting things about working on both. I always just follow people I’d be interested in working with, and whether I’d be right for the part – things like that. No, definitely not averse,’ he said.

Of course Kathleen Kennedy recently talked about how some of those sequel trilogy characters could return eventually. However Ben Solo would certainly be the toughest one to bring back given that he is dead. I suppose they could go down the Force Ghost route one day? However I would love to see Driver voice Ben in an animated series for sure, with Hamill voicing Luke.

I guess we will just have to wait and see what the future holds. However as to would Adam Driver return to Star Wars? I think given the right circumstances to be worth coming back, he just might.  Leave any thoughts below.
