Yeah, I know. Fox has only recently been acquired, and whenever some huge monumental move has been made like this, it’s hard not to salivate at the possibilities it brings. fans have been waiting since day one to see the X-Men end up in the MCU, and with Fox now a part of Disney, we can only assume Marvel Studios is chomping at the bit to get their hands on those characters, in spite of any comments made to the contrary.
While it’s easy for us fans to think like that, the reality is a bit different. As Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has stated in the past, they already have hundreds and hundreds of characters at their disposal, and one producer seemed to reiterate that point.

“There is no rush to bring the X-Men to the marketplace after this,” that producer told THR. “And when they come back, it’s going to extend Marvel’s run another 10 years.”
That is something to keep in mind. We have no idea how they plan on incorporating the X-Men into the MCU, but when they do, it won’t be in one small story. Instead, it will likely be in some big, world-altering event that could shape many films to come.
Given how many other characters they still have in their back pockets, do you think it’s for the best if they continue on their path for the foreseeable future, completely away from the Fox characters? Let us know your thoughts down below!
