Y Como Es El? is a buddy comedy from the two biggest Hispanic stars in the business right now with Omar Chaparro and Mauricio Ochmann.

The film is about a mild-mannered man, Tomas (Ochmann), who goes to Puerto Vallarta to confront the cabdriver having an affair with his wife, only to end up driving back to Mexico City with him. Over the course of an eventful long-distance drive, a strange bond develops between the pair.

The hilarious comedy also stars Zuria Vega, Miguel Rodarte, and Mauricio “El Diabilto” Barrientos. Ariel Winograd (Cara De Queso) directed the film from a script written by Paul Fruchbom (The Cool Kids, Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes On Television).

Omar Chaparro is one of the known comedic entertainers in Mexico and the U.S. Hispanic market with his likable personality. He starred in No Manches Frida, Compadres, and with an appearance in the 2019’s summer blockbuster Pokemon Detective Pikachu.

Mauricio Ochmann is one of the rising stars in the Hispanic film community. He has appeared in diverse genres, from dramas to comedies. He has appeared in the television series El Senor de los Cielos and the upcoming God’s Equation. He starred in the 2017’s Hispanic comedy hit Hazlo Como Hombre (Do It Like An Hombre).

Eugenio Derbez’s 3Pas Studios produced the project, and Pantelion Films and Lionsgate distribute the project.

Y Como Es El? will be released nationwide in the United States on April 17th with an earlier rollout in Mexico on April 3rd.
