Despite the unknown release date, during the first DC Daily episode hosted by Kevin Smith they showed a clip from the series where Nightwing and Oracle infiltrate a secret metahuman lab that is run by the mysterious Bedlam. You can check it out above!
After showing the clip from Young Justice: Outsiders, Smith was joined on set with producers for the series Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti, who offered a little insight on the clip. First they confirmed that the voice Dick Grayson is talking to is in fact Oracle. But they refused to reveal how much her character will be involved in this season. Also they mentioned Grayson’s costume which they called “Dark Wear”, which is necessary because the Justice League is not allowed in Russia so when entering the country they cannot have any symbols on their costumes.
Here is the official synopsis for the series:
“Young Justice: Outsiders features the return of the fan favorite animated series with a huge cast of DC’s most iconic young superheroes – plus brand-new characters, many of whom are just discovering their unique meta-powers and special abilities. Set against the backdrop of a rich, deep world that touches all corners of the DC universe, the season focuses on meta–trafficking, and an intergalactic arms race for control of these super–powered youths.”
