Zachary Levi Gives Us Our First Official Look At Shazam!

After so many leaked images of the live-action version of Shazam! we finally have a first look at an official image of Shazam! via Zachary Levi’s Instagram. Check it out below!

During the Licensing Show in Las Vegas Levi snapped the picture of himself standing next to a promotional image of him donning the red and gold iconic costume. Hopefully we get some official images from the films marketing soon.

Shazam! will be an origin story of Billy Batson, who will be played by both Levi and Asher Angel. Thanks to an ancient wizard, played by Ron Cephas Jones, Batson can transform into a very powerful hero simply by saying the world “Shazam!”. Also starring in the film will be Mark Strong who will play the villainous Doctor Thaddeus Sivana.

What are your thoughts on Levi’s post? Personally I am not a big fan at how small the lighting bolt is on his chest, I think it should be bigger. Let us know in the comment section below!

Shazam! storms into theaters April 5th, 2019.
