Zackary Arthur and Teo Briones in Chucky
It’s been more than three decades since the serial killing doll Chucky entered into the horror genre with Child’s Play back in 1988. The franchise, conceived by Don Mancini, spawned six sequels and a recent remake of Child’s Play in 2019. It forever embedded itself as one of the most recognizable horror characters with Michael Myers, Freddie Krueger, and Jason.
At USA Network and Syfy Channel, the concept turned itself into a television series for the next generation of fans who are unfamiliar with this franchise. Rather than a reboot or a remake, the television series adaptation serves as a sequel to the films (not counting the reboot of 2019).
The television series star Zackary Arthur, Teo Briones, Alvia Alyn Lind, and Bjorgvin Amarson. Don Mancini serves as the showrunner of the television series.
Here’s a brief synopsis:
After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets.
