Lost in all the hype lately for all things Star Wars, the Power Rangers reboot, The Batman entering production in the spring, and the upcoming Marvel exploits Spider-Man: Homecoming and Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2, is the fact that DC’s biggest movie ever is coming in 2017. That’s right, the world is going to be treated to Zack Snyder’s Justice League in November! 

It’s a very exciting time to be a DC fan, and yet we haven’t heard much about Justice League since its San Diego Comic-Con trailer hit the web over the summer. Well, it sounds like all that is about to change…

If Snyder’s remarks to a diehard fan are to be believed, DC and Warner Bros. may be preparing to give us all a Holiday surprise later this month with the debut of a brand new Justice League trailer!

Here’s how it all went down:

A fan had a chance to not only take a selfie with the director, but was able to ask him about Justice League. In his response to a particular question, Snyder dropped the tantalizing morsel that the wait for another look at the DC epic is almost over.

The fan asked if Snyder would film a short video with him where he’d make a pitch that would inspire fans to go see his movies, and Snyder’s apparent response was, “Normally I would, but the promo for the movie will begin REAL SOON so I can’t say more at the moment.” When the fan pressed him about how soon was real soon, Snyder apparently told him that by the end of this month (December).

Looking ahead at the movies coming out for the rest of the month, one notable entry could be the landing spot for a new Justice League trailer. I’m talking about Ben Affleck’s next film, Live By Night, which also happens to be a Warner Bros. production. It could make a lot of sense to attach it to that movie, considering Affleck will also be playing Batman in Justice League. Live By Night opens on Christmas day, December 25.
