We currently know the location of five of the six Infinity stones: Doctor Strange holds the Time Stone, the Power Stone is on Nova Prime, presumably Loki or Heimdall holds the Space Stone, the Mind Stone is in Vision's head, the Reality Stone is held by The Collector, and the Soul Stone has yet to be revealed.
JustJared was able to snap a ninja shot of a scene of an upcoming scene in Avengers: Infinity War, and perhaps this "spy shot" is able to give away a good bit of how Thanos collects his Infinity Stone (forgive me if I have trouble calling them gems) for his Infinity Gauntlet.
So, is this picture a snap of one of Thanos' minions taking the Time Stone from Doctor Strange? It sure does look that way. Check out the image here, and tell us what you think.
We think it goes without saying, but if you don't want to be spoiled, it may be best NOT to click the image.
It sure does appear to me that the doctor's Eye of Agamotto is about to be snatched, and furthermore Doctor Strange looks down for the count. I am sure we will get a post-movie scene in Thor: Ragnarok, as Doctor Strange is allegedly going to make an appearance. Is it possible that this is where the Time Stone is taken, who knows? JustJared has reported this is shot in Infinity War, but I do remember the fact that Benedict Cumberbatch will be using a body double for most of the movie.
The fact of the matter remains; Marvel has kept us in the dark about the Soul Stone, and perhaps Thanos actually has it himself. There will be a collection effort on the big bad's part, and it is only matter of time before the heroes of Earth, and the Guardians of the Galaxy, must deal with this.
I can personally say, from being a huge comic reader, the good guys will have quite the task on their hands.
What do you guys think? Is this image the scene where the Time Stone is taken? If Thanos gets his hand on all the Stones, will The Avengers or The Guardians even have a chance? Speak up my friends!
Avengers: Infinity War is set for release on May 4, 2018.
