Another accusation has come out, and this time from a woman by the name of Anna Graham Hunter. You likely wouldn’t recognize the name, as she hasn’t worked on anything in a hot minute, but in 1985, she served as an intern on the 1985 TV movie Death of a Salesman. In a guest column on THR, Hunter accused acclaimed actor Dustin Hoffman of sexually harassing her when she was 17.

Here’s what she had to say in her piece:

“When I was a senior in high school in New York City, interning as a production assistant on the set of the Death of a Salesman TV film, he asked me to give him a foot massage my first day on set; I did. He was openly flirtatious, he grabbed my ass, he talked about sex to me and in front of me. One morning I went to his dressing room to take his breakfast order; he looked at me and grinned, taking his time. Then he said, ‘I’ll have a hard-boiled egg … and a soft-boiled clitoris.’ His entourage burst out laughing. I left, speechless. Then I went to the bathroom and cried.”

In addition to this statement, she also published her own writings in those weeks on set, a lot of which shows off some of Hoffman’s other inappropriate moments. In one entry, she said he pestered Hunter about having sex — more specifically scolding her for not having sex over the weekend (to be clear, not with him, just in general).

Another entry had the following exchange between Hoffman and another woman.

“Elizabeth asked him what he wanted for lunch and [Hoffman] said, ‘Your left breast.’

‘You’re disgusting.’

‘OK, your right breast.’

‘You pig.’ She walked away.”

Even worse was that the office assistant said that if the producer of the film had heard Elizabeth say that to Hoffman, she would have been “gone in a second.”

These are just a few of more than a handful of stories outlined in the full piece, which you can check out HERE.

In regards to these accusations, Hoffman gave THR the following statement:

“I have the utmost respect for women and feel terrible that anything I might have done could have put her in an uncomfortable situation. I am sorry. It is not reflective of who I am.”

Hoffman is just one of the latest big Hollywood names that have been entered on a long list of sexual harassers — a list that now includes Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, and Brett Ratner.

Damn…while I don’t doubt many of these stories are true, what do the victims want so many years later? Acknowledgement? An apology? Jail time for the accused? Money? Fame? I don’t think someone Hoffman’s age is groping anyone anymore, nor is his career really in jeopardy since he’s in its twilight years….I guess there’s a certain level of catharsis, finally coming out publicly after so long… hopefully this encourages people who are currently being harassed to come out. I don’t know the answers, but if you’re a dude, keep your hands to yourself unless asked!

mate not only dudes make this kind of shit… but yeah i know what you wanted to say MOST of this is because of men

…And even then, get it in writing.

LRM has turned into a gossip tabloid over night. Guess you gotta keep getting those clicks. And I don’t think this was that unusual in the 80’s. People weren’t as liberal then as they are now. We didn’t become sensitive and start going after creeps until the 90’s. At that point only the really powerful and famous would get away with it. I bet Bieber does the same crap with his assistants when his entourage is around.

has nothing to do with clicks. While we ignored this stuff early on, it became very clear that this is much bigger and more important than we initially thought.

      • Kindofabigdeal

Fair enough. I just don’t want these stories to overshadow all the cool Avengers news we’ve been getting.

        • Joseph Jammer Medina

Also fair enough. We’ll do our best to make sure that doesn’t happen!

  • Venomaide

I dont know why people are so shocked bout this type of thing going down in hollyweird.

    • Aline

I know right? But somehow I’m still disturbed.

      • Venomaide

I would be too if Dustin Hoffman wanted my hard boiled egg.

I think it’s a combination of a time where that behavior was more accepted and where celebrities figured they could take what they want from whom they want. Doesn’t excuse it, but it was the culture. HOWEVER, there’s also the culture of celebrities virtue signalling for any cause of the day. Including against sexual harassment and assault: all while having a graveyard’s worth of skeletons in their closet.
