Ron Howard has taken to Twitter to make a very special announcement regarding the Han Solo Star Wars spinoff movie.
Take a look at the tweet below:
Hey #Twitterville we just wrapped production so here's a special message #StarWars pic.twitter.com/8QJqN5BGxr

For those who can’t watch the video, here’s what he had to say:
“As we wrap up production, I just want to take a moment to thank an incredibly talented cast and crew for all their hard work. And to the fans out there, I hope you’ve enjoyed the pictures that I’ve been sharing, pictures that I’ve been taking the set of…can we even say the name of the movie?”
Howard’s then given a title card from a pair of Wookie hands. He turns it around, and it reveals the title as Solo: A Star Wars Story.
“I’ll seen you next year!” Howard finishes.
We have to say, we’re not all that surprised with this. Pretty much from the get-go, Solo: A Star Wars Story was speculated to be one of the titles, along with Han Solo: A Star Wars Story. However, with an official title now out there in the aether, the whole deal certainly feels a lot more official.
It won’t win any creativity awards, but it fit. What do you think of the new title? Let us know down below!
Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on May 25, 2018.
