LRM Online has an exclusive release announcement for Protectors of the Land action film.
After a successful and acclaimed project with the Shogun series, second-unit director and stunt coordinator Lauro Chartrand-DelValle sold his movie, Protectors of the Land, to streaming platform Tubi beginning on July 4th.
The film stars Tim Rozon (Wynonna Earp, Karate Kid: Legends), Tanaya Beatty (Yellowstone), Nathaniel Arcand (Sinners), and Graham Greene (Wind River, Dances with Wolves).
This supernatural action thriller follows a white man (Rozen), who becomes embroiled in a violent drug war in their Alaskan town. His Indigenous wife (Beatty) becomes endangered in the conflict, which prompts him to team with her brother (Arcand) to find justice.

Lauro Chartrand-DelValle is the stunt coordinator and second unit director of the critically acclaimed television series Shogun and Tracker. His work was recognized with the SAG Award for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble for the FX series Shogun, along with multiple Leo Awards and a UBCP/ACTRA Award.
Protectors of the Land was executive produced by Sharlene Royer. Chartrand-DelValle and Royer will both return to work on season two of Shogun and develop their next feature film with Crimson Creek Massacre.
Sales for Protectors of the Land was completed by Enlighten Content.
