Well, I’ll be, looka there. the official trailer for the Deadwood movie has arrived. After years of rumors and gestation, it has finally arrived. The film brings back most all the original cast for one last hurrah in the town of Deadwood. The show originally aired on HBO from 2004-2006, and was known for its use of colorful language as well as being an entertaining series.
However, the show had somewhat of an abrupt ending and left the majority of fans unhappy with how the show went out, hence the long-awaited movie being such a big deal. I was a fan of the show, I’ve seen every episode, but it’s been so long since I have, I honestly don’t remember much about the last season or how the show came to an unnatural close. I will probably rewatch the last season as a refresher before I check out the movie. Robin Weigert’s Calamity Jane is my favorite character and has some of the best scenes in the show in my opinion, though it’s tough to beat Wu trying to tell Dan about a visitor from San Francisco.
