The past month or so has been a bit dry on good movies. This is shown by the flicks actually in theaters right now, and for the recent dramatic dip at the box office. However, with IT now hitting theaters, you can now expect the more quality movies that include fall blockbusters and Oscar bait fare will be hitting soon.

One such film is the upcoming Kenneth Branagh flick Murder on the Orient Express. The film is based on the classic Agatha Christie novel of the same name, and features a metric ton of celebrities filling the familiar roles in this whodunnit film.

20th Century Fox has released a new one sheet for Murder on the Orient Express. From the novel by best-selling author Agatha Christie, Murder on the Orient Express tells the tale of thirteen strangers stranded on a train, where everyone’s a suspect. Kenneth Branagh directs and leads an all-star cast including Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley and Josh Gad.

Clues are everywhere. Everyone is a suspect. Eagle-eyed sleuths may notice a new clue hidden in this latest one sheet. Visit CluesAreEverywhere.com to uncover more clues and learn about the suspects aboard the Orient Express.

For first teaser trailer for this film was pretty fantastic, and this poster continues with the high bar of quality. It has that wonderful slick gloss that’s present from the film, as well as that over-the-top nature that was teased.

Below is the official synopsis:

“What starts out as a lavish train ride through Europe quickly unfolds into one of the most stylish, suspenseful and thrilling mysteries ever told. From the novel by best-selling author Agatha Christie, Murder on the Orient Express tells the tale of thirteen strangers stranded on a train, where everyone’s a suspect. One man must race against time to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again.”

The buzz for this film is looking great, and if everything we’ve heard is true regarding the quality of this, we may be in for a certified classic this November.

Now whenever I see this poster all I can think of is Imagine Dragons and how horrible that trailer was.
    And Josh Gads stupid face.

Most punchable face Josh Gad or Miles Teller?

  • Neil Pye

Why can’t they get their shit together and put the fucking name over the respective actor’s head? This bullshit about “top billing” just makes the poster confusing and creates that OCD/ mildly infuriating sense of something just being… off.

Anyone ever play the old 90’s game “The Last Express” based on this? It was a cool idea…People lived their lives normally through the entire passage of the game, doing stuff and having conversations, you could never be in two places at once, so you could never get the whole story in one go. I wanted to stick with it but it’s just too hard of a game, kept getting game overs early.
