In today’s Barside Buzz we have another rumor saying Spider-Man and Punisher will face Savage Hulk, plus how Ironheart once connected to Captain America: Brave New World‘s Serpent Society. Let’s begin with Spider-Man: Brand New Day. We recently found out Jon Bernthal was in the movie as Punisher. Rumor is, he and Spidey face off against Savage Hulk in at least one of the movies plots. Now Daniel RPK is saying he’s heard the same thing from sources.
Daniel says at least some of the plot of Brand New Day will revolve around a Spider-Man and Punisher team up against Savage Hulk. Daniel isn’t sure if there’s more going on in addition to this within the film, my guess is that is likely. However, you’re here for potentially legit rumors, not guesswork, so ignore me.
I will say, I’m not really sure what help Punisher will be to Spider-Man against Hulk? Nothing Punisher has in his arsenal is going to do much to Hulk is it? Even Spider-Man will struggle to contain Hulk and he’s one of Marvel’s strongest heroes. Punisher has been an effective antagonist for Spider-Man when he goes up against him in the comics and cartoons, I’m just less sure about Hulk. I guess we will see how things are presented within the film. Still no official confirmation of Hulk being in the film by the way.

Second up today we have a claim from MTTSH that Ezekiel Stane (Ironheart) once connected into the Serpent Society in Captain America: Brave New World. If you recall, Ironheart originally was supposed to come out before Brave New World. The theatrical version of Brave New World we got, cut the Serpent Society completely.
Check it out,
Now that Ironheart is over it's time to reveal that originally, Zeke Stane was supposed to be the one who created the Serpent Society in Captain America: Brave New World, back when the show was meant to come out before the movie and the group was a team of cyborgs. pic.twitter.com/M6uDu1POYh

I have no idea if this story/rumor is genuine? However, it would kinda make sense if it was originally set up like that. As I said in my review, it would have been better to have Ironheart see Adamantium used for the first time since it was fought over in Brave New World. Both the film and Ironheart could have benefited from leaning into Marvel’s newly allowed to be used super metal.
Oh well…
