Samuel L. Jackson To Teach Acting Class

Samuel L. Jackson is preparing to take you to school, acting school. That’s right, the veteran actor is teaming with MasterClass to teach you how to act. The acting class will be presented online and has a price of $90 for lifetime access. Because of the format of the class, it can be taken at your own individual pace:

“As a kid, Samuel L. Jackson stuttered so badly that he stopped talking for almost a year. Today he’s one of the world’s most successful actors, with roles in over 100 films, including Pulp Fiction and The Avengers. For the first time, the Oscar nominated star teaches how he creates memorable characters, powerful performances, and a long-lasting career. Learn to master auditions, analyze scripts, and find the truth in every role you play.”

Offering over 20 videos to learn from, a downloadable workbook, and feedback from other students, with some lucky students getting feedback from Jackson himself. The price isn’t really that bad, and it is an interesting concept. Jackson’s longevity in Hollywood along with his wide array of characters should be able to provide students with a variety of skills and help them on their own journey to Tinseltown.

Other talented folks like Aaron Sorkin and Kevin Spacey have teamed with MasterClass in the past, and also have their own courses available on the site.
