Okay, so before we go any further, it’s probably wise of us to put out a mad spoiler warning. If you’ve somehow clicked on this thinking this is anything but a spoilery post for Justice League, now’s your time to turn back.

SPOILER ALERT!

……

….

..

.

The Justice League film is currently in its worldwide press tour, and they recently stopped off in China. During this tour, fans had the opportunity to see the first 30 minutes of the completed film. On the whole, response seems to be pretty strong, though many say that 30 minutes isn’t nearly long enough to make a definitive statement.

The interesting post came from Twitter user Fiona Is All In. In addition to a myriad of photos and videos from the event itself (and one especially interesting video of actor Ezra Miller…meditating?), there was one cryptic tweet that read:

“#JustcieLeague [sic] #earlierScreening is over……All the ppl in the theater went Crazy“a film you have never see”! [sic] &there is a light of green, yes.”

Of course, that “light of green” line is what caught our eye, and even one of her followers asked directly what it meant, and her response was:

“Green Lantern confirmed.”

That’s right. We knew that Steppenwolf mentioned Lanterns before, but this is our first real confirmation of one of them actually being in the film. We’ll have to wait and see if this is actually the case, but given all the videos and photos being pulled from the event, it would seem strange for it to be a lie.

That being said, since it was only the first 30 minutes of the film, we wouldn’t be surprised if we just catch glimpses of them in the opening prologue. Still pretty cool, though.

What do you think? Are you excited at the prospect of seeing a Green Lantern in Justice League? Let us know down below!

  • RX178

If this movie had been first, with tantalizing hints of a larger universe, it would’ve worked wonders. But with previous in canon movies that have been mostly mediocre, it just doesn’t sound that exciting.

  • AmiRami

Better not go CGI this time.

  • HORSEFLESH

There’s a flashback at the start with anonymous Green Lanterns featured in a wide-shot. That’s it.

So when does this PoS come out on streaming media? I’m seriously considering skipping this one.
