Hate those fight scenes from Iron Fist Season 1? You aren’t alone. In fact, the fight scenes were one of the main complaints many fans had about the show — you know, in addition to other things like character and overall narrative. But given that we have a lead martial artist character in Iron Fist, one could assume that some amount of proficiency in fighting would be part of the requirement to take on the name.
As we’ve already reported on in the past from our interviews from San Diego Comic-Con, Season 2 will be improving that aspect of the show quite a bit. In addition to giving star Finn Jones time to actually train to take on the role, they’ve also upped the ante with stunt coordinator Clayton Barber, who handled the fight scenes from Black Panther.

Now, in a new featurette, all the changes being made are being teased. In the featurette, virtually everyone involved emphasizes how much everything is changing, with Barber himself putting special emphasis on making fights with rhythm. Additionally, Barber is apparently a coordinator who finds actors doing their own stunts especially important.
Perhaps the coolest little tidbit from the featurette is that each episode will feature a standout fight scene, which teases at a much faster-paced season.
