How long will it be until we see the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Probably not anytime soon, but who knows, what we do know is they will be arriving. Kevin Feige mentioned during the Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con that a Fantastic Four project was in the works.
Variety caught up with Feige and pressed him a little bit on the project, asking him what Fantastic Four story Marvel intends to tell, now that the characters are available to use. Of course, Feige was none to revealing as usual and had the following to say.
“All of that is spoilers, but I’m extremely excited about those characters and about bringing Marvel’s first family up sort of to the platform and the level that they deserve.”

This has been a franchise that has been hard to transfer to the screen. Both attempts have shaped up to be, well, subpar to say the least, but if anyone can do the franchise justice, surely it’s Kevin Feige and his team over at Marvel. Hopefully we will soon begin to gets drops of news here and there concerning the franchise. Casting, as it always is will be a huge deal, I still vote John Krasinki for Mr Fantastic.
