New Key Art For Marvel Studios’ Next Series Loki

One bright side of 2021 has been the long-awaited arrival of Marvel Studios’ series on Disney+. We have already been treated to one full season of WandaVision. Today, we debut the first episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. While we enjoy the first season of that series we can also start looking ahead to what’s next.

This upcoming June, get ready for the return of one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s favorite characters, Tom Hiddleston’s Loki. In the self-titled series, we find the Norse god of mischief in a timeline that was created by the events of Avengers: Endgame. Yesterday Marvel Studios released a new piece of key art for Loki. You can check it out below!

In this new series, Hiddleston is joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, and Richard E. Grant. Loki is being directed by Kate Herron. With Michael Waldron as head writer.

This is the same outfit we see Loki wearing in the trailer that was recently released. What is interesting is the ‘TVA’ on Loki’s shirt. This could stand for something we find in the comics called the Time Variance Authority. An organization that monitors realities and timelines in the Marvel Multiverse. Another clue in the artwork that may support this theory would be the clock behind Loki. But it could all mean something else entirely. Mephisto maybe? (Joking of course).

The early events of Avengers: Infinity War had us worried that we may have seen the last of Thor’s brother. But luckily the following film, through some nifty time traveling, was able to bring him back.

What do you think of the new key artwork for Loki? Let us know in the comment section below!

Marvel Studios’ Loki is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on June 11th. Currently, you can find WandaVision and the first episode of The Falcon and the Winter Solider there.
