LEGO Masters Season 2 Runner Up Team Zack And Wayne On Coming So Close To The Title [Exclusive Interview]

An interesting fact about the three finalists for season two of LEGO Masters is that all three teams were siblings. These are teams of brothers that have built Legos for years. No doubt that they have bonds that can arguably elevate them over any other team. This week we saw them go toe to toe for the title of Lego Masters.

There were several teams that I was rooting for including the team of Zach and Wayne. This team of brothers set the tone in the series from the premiere episode. They had a fantastic double dragon build for their parade float that put all the other teams on notice. It also won them the “golden brick” which had the power to protect them from elimination.

In the end, they fell just short of the goal. Finishing in second place behind the LEGO Masters champions, Mark and Steven. Their phenomenal 24-hour build just didn’t impress the judges enough. With all of their great builds, it was hard to see them be eliminated.

Here is the synopsis for the LEGO Masters finale “Master Build – Day & Night”

Imagination, craftsmanship and execution come together in the final challenge of the season! Host Will Arnett, and Brickmasters Amy Corbett and Jamie Berard give the three remaining teams 24 hours to design and construct a “master” build! Duos are given the freedom to build anything their minds can envision.

The twist is that the build needs to have two looks: a day look and a night look. Whatever is crafted should present itself one way when the lights are on and should surprise the judges when the lights go off. Find out who will take home the $100,000 prize, the LEGO trophy and the illustrious title of LEGO MASTERS.
