Legos are something that all ages can enjoy. For me personally, Legos have served as a bonding moment between my daughter and me. Time seems to slow down as we divide and conquer our builds. In the meantime, it also gives us some quality time to talk about all kinds of subjects. For others, it’s a full-on competition.
Like the contestants on FOX’s reality competition series LEGO Masters. This week was the grand finale of the competition. It featured the final three teams competing in a 24-hour build that would determine the winner of this season. Unfortunately despite becoming fans of all three of the remaining teams, only one could prevail.
One of the three finalist teams was composed of two brothers Caleb and Jacob. Although it is interesting to note that all three remaining teams were made up of siblings. In the second season of LEGO Masters, they took third place on the season finale. But despite them not winning, they have an astonishing story that shows us how determined they were to compete with this talented group of builders.

LRM Online’s Emmanuel Gomez spoke with Caleb and Jacob about their time on LEGO Masters. During this time we learned that while filming the competition, this dynamic duo was also finishing their college courses. I am happy to report that they graduated. One of them was even planning to get married. Despite all these distractions, they were still able to make it into the final three.
One other fun note is that in the series, Caleb and Jacob challenged Mark and Steven for their title of Castle Bros., and successfully took it. They shared with us that they have no plans on handing back the title. Is there going to be a challenge in the future? Only time will tell. You can check out the full interview down below!
LEGO Masters Season 2 Finale “Master Build – Day & Night”
Imagination, craftsmanship and execution come together in the final challenge of the season! Host Will Arnett, and Brickmasters Amy Corbett and Jamie Berard give the three remaining teams 24 hours to design and construct a “master” build! Duos are given the freedom to build anything their minds can envision.
The twist is that the build needs to have two looks: a day look and a night look. Whatever is crafted should present itself one way when the lights are on and should surprise the judges when the lights go off. Find out who will take home the $100,000 prize, the LEGO trophy and the illustrious title of LEGO MASTERS.
