As ludicrous as the adventures may be in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, the show just started its seventh season since its launch back in January 2016.
Now through its 100 episodes, DC FanDome marked its celebration with a 100-second video to summarize the highlights of the series in its intense action and absurdity over the years.
The premise of the show is to be an off-shoot set in the Arrowverse as heroes and villains travel through time in their own adventures. The characters were introduced in other The CW shows Arrow and The Flash, along with new characters.
The television series was developed by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, and Phil Klemmer.
The series grew in popularity over the years and it had several crossover episodes with the characters on The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl.

For this new season, it was also revealed the return of several cast members, including Arthur Darvill (Rip Hunter), Victor Garber (Dr. Martin Stein/Firestorm), Franz Drameh (Jax/Firestorm), Falk Hentschel (Hawkman), Courtney Ford (Nora Darhk), Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer/the Atom), and Wentworth Miller (Leonard Snart/Captain Cold).
The premise of the new season has to do with Gideon, the Waverider’s artificial intelligence who becomes a real character (played by Amy Pemberton in the seventh season). In the 100th episode, the human Gideon is overwhelmed and meltdown. In a rebooted effort, Astra (Olivia Swann) and Spooner (Lisseth Chavez) must enter her mind to help her remember the Legends. Inside Gideon’s mind, the newest recruits witness the unseen moments from many of the earlier seasons.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow airs Wednesdays on The CW at 8/7c.
