First Look Clip Of The CW’s Naomi Ripped Right Out The Comic Book | DC FanDome

Naomi

My favorite character to come out of DC’s Wonder Comics imprint was Naomi. She was created by Brian Michael Bendis, David Walker, and Jamal Campbell. She first appeared in her own self-titled comic book series that came out in 2019. Since then she has grown quite a bit as a character in the DC Universe.

So much so that back in May of this year we got the official word that Naomi would be coming to the small screen at The CW. Today being the big day of reveals over at DC FanDome, we got our first official look at the series! In which there is even a little glimpse of the Man of Steel himself! You can check it out below!

If you have read her series (which if you haven’t I recommend it), you’ll find that the clip that was released is very close to how the comic book also kicks off. This is very exciting as it feels like the character is jumping right out of the pages of the book. Naomi stars Kaci Walfall in the lead role.

Joining her on the series are Alexander Wraith, Cranston Johnson, Camila Moreno, Mary-Charles Jones, Barry Watson, Mouzam Makkar, Daniel Puig, Will Meyers, and Aidan Gemme. Its written and executive producer is Ava DuVernay and Arrow and co-executive producer Jill Blankenship.

Naomi follows a teenage girl’s journey that begins in her small town all the way throughout the Multiverse. After a supernatural event hits her town, she sets out to uncover its origins. What she discovers will change everything for her.
