It was almost ten years ago that “John Wick” made its debut in theaters and started an action-packed franchise that has so far produced four films. In those films, a vast world is built filled with many characters and lore that further pull us into the story. With the movies focusing on John Wick, there is not much time to explore that underground world that is governed by very specific rules and procedures. That all changes with the Peacock Original, “The Continental: From the World of John Wick” being released in late September.

With the release a little over a month away, Peacock has released a lengthy trailer for the three-part special that will be exclusively on their streaming service, check it out!

“The Continental: From the World of John Wick” will be a treat for fans that have invested so much time watching the films. This three-part special event focuses on the origins of the hotel-for-assassins. This means there will be several callbacks and Easter eggs that will probably earn the films another watch to try and connect all the dots.

Here is the synopsis for “The Continental: From the World of John Wick”

The three-part event will explore the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott, as he’s dragged into the Hell-scape of 1970’s New York City to face a past he thought he’d left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the hotel’s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his future throne.

The first part of the special event premieres on Friday, September 22, exclusively on Peacock. Followed by a second the second part the following Friday, September 29. The final part then airs on Friday, October 6.
