The Synopsis
The second season of Dexter: Resurrection finds Dexter Morgan (Hall) caught between two killers — one with decades of notoriety and a lifetime of kills behind him, and the other a fresh young face terrorizing New York in ways no one has ever seen. Meanwhile, Dexter battles a new and unexpected enemy: a mid-life crisis. Harrison (Jack Alcott) continues his own pursuit of justice as father and son face their darkest chapter yet.
Michael C. Hall was born February 1, 1971, in Raleigh, North Carolina, and earned his MFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts graduate acting program. He made his debut on Broadway as the Emcee in Sam Mendes’ 1999 revival of Cabaret. In 2001 Hall broke out on television as “David Fisher” in HBO’s Six Feet Under. In 2006, he took on the role that would define his career, playing “Dexter Morgan” in Showtime’s Dexter. That performance earned him a Golden Globe, a SAG Award and five consecutive Emmy nominations. The actor has continued theater and starred on Broadway in Hedwig and the Angry Inch and David Bowie’s Lazarus, played John F. Kennedy in The Crown, and fronts the New York band Princess Goes.
