Here’s A Fanmade Stan Lee Star Wars Mash-up!

As nerds and geeks, most of us enjoy a well made crossover of popular properties. Whether its a really cool video, a  shirt, or a simple meme, fandoms love the mash-ups.

Comic book legend Stan Lee shared what he calls a “Stanimation” on his Twitter account. The fan made video beautifully blends Star Wars and Marvel, and shows Stan Lee using Spidey’s moves to bring down an Imperial Walker, a nicely timed voiceover from Deadpool himself, as well as using Captain America’s trusty shield to finish a lightsaber duel with Darth Maul. The only negative thing I have to say about this video is that it wasn’t long enough, I would have enjoyed another segment or two. Maybe have Stan Lee as Tony Stark flying an X-Wing, or as The Hulk grabbing TIE fighters out of the air.

Lee is comic book royalty and perhaps one day he will crossover his famous cameos into the Star Wars Universe.

With mixed reactions, heated arguments, and broken hearts, Star Wars: The Last Jedi has turned the fandom upside down. While there are plenty that loved the film (hey, Jammer) many didn’t, and this animation shared by Lee is just what the fans needed to lighten to mood surrounding the film.
