As teenagers, we all hated when chores got in the way of our plans. A young Luke Skywalker was no different. Cleaning up a couple of newly acquired droids forced him to have to postpone his trip to get some power converters. Well, while it may have taken 43 years, he did it. He finally did it. Luke Skywalker has made his way to Tosche Station. However, not the one on Tatooine. And not quite Luke, but actor Mark Hamill.
Hamill took to his personal Twitter account to make a delightful post, showing him in front of a gas station that happens to be named Tosche. I think it’s s close as Hamill, Luke, and Star Wars fans are going to get, we’ll take it. You can check out the post below.
I can finally cross this off my "to-do" list.#BetterLateThanNever pic.twitter.com/3rmfEiA3tv

The line in A New Hope may be one of the more lovingly quoted Luke Skywalker lines It’s a particularly whiney line, but one most fans love all the same, myself included. As often as possible, when someone asks me where I’m headed, the answer is to Tosche Station. And sometimes I don’t even have to be asked, on my way out the door I’ll just blurt it out.
Let’s all hope that power converters were in stock at this particular location. And on sale, if at all possible.
The way Mark Hamill embraces being Luke is simply wonderful. He loves being Luke and he loves the fans and interacting with them. As the above photo clearly demonstrates. Hamill is just awesome. I’d love to have a chat with him someday.
