Gotham Season 5 Premiere Date Announced

Fox’s Batman prequel show, Gotham, finally has a premiere date for its fifth and final season. The show will return on January 3 of next year. The season will wrap up the story of a young Bruce Wayne, as well as several other well-known characters from the Batman mythos, including Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, and the show’s version of the Joker, which isn’t officially the Joker, however he will sport the character’s trademark green hair this season, an attribute he was previously not allowed to have.

The showrunners have promised fans that the upcoming season will see Bruce take the final steps to become the hero Gotham needs. Viewers got a small taste of what is to come last season, as young Bruce Wayne was shown wearing some sort of primitive Batsuit.

Along with the arrival of Batman, not long ago we learned that Robin Lord Taylor’s Penguin, will start to look more like the traditional version of the character, and the actor 13will probably wear a fat suit, to give him that classic Penguin look. Of course, this isn’t said to happen until the last episode, which we now know jumps in time roughly 10 years.
