‘21 Jump Street’ Sequel in the Works…..Wait, What?

The chemistry between Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum must so good that they’re working on a sequel to “21 Jump Street” already.

According to E! Online, Hill confirmed he’s writing a second script at the recent Academy Awards.

“We are writing the sequel now,” he told E! News. “We got [the greenlight] by the studio to start writing the sequel.”

Hill wrote “21 Jump Street” script with Michael Bacall (“Project X,” “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World”). It will be the first movie script for Hill.

The film won’t be in theaters until March 16, but Hill believes the audiences will enjoy the movie.

“I’d say it’s the funniest movie I’ve ever been in—that and ‘Superbad,’” he said. “It’s like a two-hour or hour-and-a-half party.”

Let’s hope so. For the sake of a possible sequel.
