Henry Cavill in Talks to Visit the ‘Great Wall’

He may be faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. But when he’s not Superman, he may need to find a regular job.Actor Henry Cavill is eyeing his next project after “Man of Steel.”

According to Variety, the Superman star is in negotiations with Legendary East’s “The Great Wall.”

The story will be about unlocking the mystery on how China’s Great Wall was constructed. It was conceived by Legendary Pictures chairman Thomas Tull and Max Brooks.

It will be the first production from the Legendary East studio, which was recently launched by Legendary Pictures and Asian investors last summer. The goal is to produce a one or two films a year.

The film will be helmed by Edward Zwick (“Love and Other Drugs,” “The Last Samurai”) from a script from Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz.

“The Great Wall” will be distributed in China and domestic distribution has not been announced at this time.
