According to Screen Daily, the “Twilight” director is in negotiations to direct “Diamond,” a gangster film set in 1960s London backdrop.

Otherwise, there are few other details about the movie’s plotline.

Hardwicke directed one film since 2008’s “Twilight” with “Red Riding Hood.” She is currently casting her next film “Plush,” an erotic thriller starring Evan Rachel Wood.

“Diamond” will be produced by Nicola Harolick of Derby Street Films.
