Cinemax’s “Femme Fatales” television show is a late-anthology series about powerful, sexy and dangerous woman in certain situations.

The show was inspired by a combination of film noir, graphic novels and pulp stories in contemporary settings.

Each of the episodes is introduced by Lilith (played by Tanit Phoenix), who may be a mysterious and beautiful creature pushing these women into dangerous situations. The episodes have a similar “Twilight Zone” twist and then some of the characters and storylines are intertwined at the end of the season.

Notable guest stars in season two will include Vivica A. Fox, Jeff Fahey, Eric Roberts, Antonio Sabato Jr., Kyle Gass, Steve Railsback, Leilani Sarelle, Robert LaSardo, Reggie Hayes, Paul Rae, Dean Haglund, Charlie O’Connell and Robert Picardo.

The second season of “Femme Fatales” will premiere on Cinemax this Friday, May 25.

Latino-Review had an opportunity to interview executive producer Steve Kriozere earlier this year at the WonderCon Convention in Anaheim. Kriozere discussed the past successful season and what audiences may expect in the upcoming second season.

In addition, Latino-Review interviewed a few select thespians in the upcoming season including Adam Huss, Madison Dylan and Nikki Griffin.
