Jennifer Connelly in Talks to Join Cast of ‘Noah’

As expected, Paramount Pictures and New Regency have officially begun negotiations with actress Jennifer Connelly for her to join the cast of the Biblical tale “Noah.”

Connelly will reunite with actor Russell Crowe since the 2002’s Academy Award Best Picture movie “A Beautiful Mind.” She won the best actress award in a supporting role in the movie.

She will play Noah’s wife in the Darren Aronofsky-directed movie on the tale of Noah’s ark. Aronofsky has courted Connelly for the past few months, but the studios never officially entered into negotiations with the actress.

Other cast members on board already included Ray Winstone, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman and Douglas Booth.

“Noah” has a release schedule of March 28, 2014.
